Through a Supported Decision-Making Agreement, individuals can establish a network of trusted supporters who assist them in understanding options, gathering information, and considering potential outcomes related to healthcare, finances, housing, and other important life decisions. Supporters do not make decisions on behalf of the individual; instead, they help the person make choices that reflect their own preferences, goals, and values.
